Hermès Paris

      Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris is one of the most fashionable streets in the world, and it is here that the flagship store of Hermès is located.

 

360 LB-100 LED Balls (measuring 30 x 12 meters) were delivered to meet the requirement of a ‘soft’ kind of illumination meanwhile providing an elegant result and very smooth and graphic effects for the old building.

 

The SGM LB-100 are designed to form a video light curtain with a 120mm pixel pitch, made up from 0.85m long strings each containing seven white LED balls.  Each 28mm sphere contains two powerful RGB LEDs (rated at 42mW per pixel) built into the white plastic moulding. These can extend to a maximum length of 6.8 meters (using 56 balls) and total power consumption is just 42W.

 

The LB-100 LED Balls can be driven by the ILD (capable of driving 3 pcs. of full length LB-100 strings) or by the TLD-612A (capable of driving 6 pcs. of full length LB-100 strings).
